Dipak is a Specialist Knee and Hip surgeon. He was born in India and did his basic training over there but he came to the UK to do his specialist training in orthopaedic surgery. He developed an interest in knee and hip surgery fairly early in his career, having worked with some famous knee and hip surgeons. After completion of his training in trauma and orthopaedic surgery from Oxford, he did a fellowship in lower limb arthroplasty and soft tissue knee reconstruction in Cambridge.

He has continued his interest in knee surgery and likes to stay at the forefront of technology. He routinely performs uni-compartmental knee replacements, as well as patello-femoral replacements. He has extensive experience in primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty (replacement).  He also undertakes hip resurfacing, Hip arthroscopy, Hip impingement surgery, knee arthroscopy and arthroscopic sports surgery and ligament reconstruction of the knee.
